Friday & Saturday, 26th & 27th July 2019
Standing ovations at the first of the three final concerts! The International Academy Orchestra and soloist Christoph Eß, conducted by Johannes Klumpp, played in a sold-out barn and were rewarded by thunderous applause. Schubert, Strauß, Nicolai and Brahms have never sounded so beautiful!

Jazznight Open Air
We danced and sang like there was no tomorrow! Thank you, Huggee Swing Band and Franziska Schuster for making the Jazznight Open Air legendary! If there had been a roof, you would have blown it off!

This is Vienna! With colourful images Johannes Klumpp and the International Academy Orchestra gave its audience insights into the Vienna of Brahms, Strauss, Schubert and Nicolai at the lecture concert.

The exceptional Concert
Techno played on flutes, a violin, a viola, a cello and a piano?! Hell yeah! With their current program »On the Dancefloor« Spark – the classical Band blew the roof off the Andreaskirche in Hundisburg.

The Walking Concert took people not only on a walk through the history of traditional brick making but also through the history of music. The chamber music ensembles formed by members of this year's International Academy Orchestra clearly enjoyed playing next to the old bucket-chain dredger, inside the kiln or in the field train.

During the last four days Simon Höfele was teaching seven young trumpet players in the Academy Room at Hundisburg Castle. They were accompanied by Magdalena Müllerperth.
