Guest Concert Oschersleben

Sunday, 8th of August 2021

One very last concert – and that’s how fast the 29th SummerMusicAcademy rushed past: The International Academy Orchestra brought Mozart and Haydn to the Sankt Nikolaikirche in Oschersleben and thus put a brilliant end to a wonderfully emotional SMA in which the joy of making music together in front of an audience was omnipresent.

Exceptional Concert

Wednesday, 4th of August 2021

Who needs a drum set and bass when you can get the same sounds out of violins, a viola and a cello? The four versatile musicians of the vision string quartet performed Maurice Ravel's String Quartet in F Major as well as their own compositions from jazz and pop.

Jazz Night Open Air

Monday, 2nd of August 2021

At the Jazz Night Open Air in the yard of the Technische Denkmal Ziegelei Hundisburg, Omer Klein and Haggai Cohen Milo from the phenomenal Omer Klein Trio met drummer Silvan Strauß for the first time - and immediately harmonised in every sense! It remains to be clarified who had more fun: the musicians on stage or their audience.

Walking Concerts

Sunday, 1st of August 2021

The first round of the three Walking Concerts still took place at five different stations in the castle garden, then the rain came. The chamber ensembles of young musicians from the International Academy Orchestra moved to the castle in record time and walked together with the audience along the paths of the two "classical giants" Haydn and Mozart - and they did so without getting their feet wet!

Two violins, two violas, one cello, one harp, one piano and a mezzo-soprano in changing constellations. Add a programme that couldn't be more colourful as well as the beautifully illuminated garden of Hotel Behrens in Haldensleben – and the Serenade was guaranteed to be a huge success!
