Music students between the ages of 18 and 30 can apply. The country of origin is irrelevant.

There are no specific requirements for the recordings. They should be as multi-faceted and expressive as possible, which is why we ask for at least two works or movements of different character and from different eras. In general, you may play anything that you enjoy and that you think will make an impression.
Please upload the recordings to an online portal such as YouTube, Soundcloud, Dropbox etc. and then include the corresponding link in your application.

This year, the lessons and events during the master class will be held primarily in German.

The rehearsals of the Academy Orchestra are all held largely in English.

All participants of the SommerMusikAkademie will receive a place in a three- or four-bed room at Schloss Hundisburg. Bed linen and towels are also provided. More information about accommodation can be found here.
