"Coming from the heart" - the title of the opening and anniversary concert was programmatic. Festival founder Rolf-Dieter Arens played heartfelt works with violinist Youngkun Kwak and cellist Jonathan Weigle, both of whom have been associated with the Academy Orchestra for years as principals and soloists.
