Under the guidance of Friedrich Thiele, one of the most aspiring and successful cellists of his generation, six young cellists gathered at Hundisburg Castle for a three-day master class to kick off the 31st SommerMusikAkademie. The results of the fruitful work were then presented at the master class podium in the "Aquarell" house. Two scholarships donated by Dr. Barbara and Dr. Michael Reiser were also awarded to two outstanding participants.
